Anenih Chides Buhari over Yar’Adua
“Former Chairman of the Board of Trustees, of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Chief Tony Anenih has asked the presidential candidate of the All Nigeria Peoples Party (ANPP), Major General Muhammadu Buhari (rtd) to stop unnecessary posturing over his presidential election appeal before the Supreme Court.”
“He said he should no longer create the impression that he has a chance of winning the case at the apex court.
In a three-page statement entitled: “Buhari Does Not Need to Withdraw Case” in Abuja, Anenih challenged him to follow the legal process to the end since he has decided not to heed the wise counsel of Emirs who reportedly might have advised him to do so.
He said Buhari’s new claim that he could not withdraw his suit because six other political parties voted massively for him was another sad and alienating example of his (Buhari’s) politics of convenience.”
I wonder if Annenih got the memo stating that he is not the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court…
